The awesome biker trip for my 40th! I had always wanted to ride the 7 mile bridge which is on Route 1, the oldest highway in the U.S., that runs from Key West to Maine. So we flew in to Miami and headed to Petersons Harley Davidson to pick up the Heritage Softail Classic. Headed straight down to Marathon and the very nice 3 bedroom condo that Heather found for us to stay in at the Coral Lagoon Resort. When we weren't on the bike we were around the pool, and on our own the whole time...no other guests...lucky us. We drove out one evening to the old 7 mile bridge, which has a 2 mile stretch still standing. Great sunset that night. Also headed down to Key West one very hot day, just because you have to. The shots of the nice beach are the Bahia Honda Park which was close to the 7 mile bridge on Route 1. An excellent trip even though there was a heat wave when we were there. Felt safe on the bike and Heather did well dealing with it all. :)
